Dame Pauline Green, President of the International Co-operative Alliance (www.ica.coop) delivered the Inaugural SBA Lecture to a large gathering of Australian social business leaders at Parliament House, Canberra, on 15 March 2010.
ICA is the global peak body representing co-operatives and is the largest non-government organisation in the world. Dame Pauline spoke about the global mutual renaissance and gave an international view of values-based economic prosperity and initiatives in social enterprise investment. The lecture was hosted and introduced by Senator Ursula Stephens, Parliamentary Secretary for Social Inclusion.
